The included factory letter for these revolvers lists this specially selected pair as 6.5 inch barrels and blued finishes when shipped to Olympic Wholesale Co. in Los Angeles, California on March 25, 1957. The letter also states that a factory consecutive pair would have at the time cost an extra 10% on top of the wholesale cost for both the revolvers. Both are fitted with red ramp front and adjustable rear sights, and diamond pattern checkered walnut grips. Each revolver comes with a S&W presentation case.

Excellent overall, retaining 95% original blue finish with handling marks, leading edge wear, slight pitting, a cylinder drag line, and overall crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Cases are fine with a couple tears in the lining.
