This is one of only 3,630 K-32 Masterpiece (Model 16 series) revolvers S&W manufactured over a 26 year period starting in 1947. It is the rarest of the standard K-Masterpiece target model series. The accompanying factory letter states the revolver was shipped on October 15, 1958 and delivered to Rex Firearms Co. of New York City and confirms the 6 inch barrel, Patridge front sight, target hammer, blue finish, and checkered walnut target grips. Excellent retaining 98% plus original blue finish with a light cylinder drag line and limited handling marks. 99% plus original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are also excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
