Manufactured in 1956-1957. One of the first 350 of this model produced, also includes the rare and seldom ever seen original shipping carton numbered to the gun in addition to the S&W monogram display case and cleaning tools. The included factory letter lists this first year production revolver with a 6 1/2 inch barrel, red ramp front sight, white outline read rear sight, target hammer and trigger, blue finish, and checkered Goncalo Alves grips when shipped to Arthur Cook Supply Co. in Laurel, Maryland on May 1, 1956.

Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original blue finish, some light handling marks, a light cylinder drag line, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine.
