The casehardened sidelock action displays light scroll engraving with maker's name on both lockplates and the underside and a gold inlaid pigeon on the toplever. The gun features double triggers, bushed firing pins, and a manual tang mounted safety. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered splinter forend and straight grip stock with ebony inlaid teardrop carved flats and a red rubber recoil pad. Very fine, retaining 98% original blue finish which has taken on a plum hue, 95% original case colors, light handling evidence, repaired teardrop inlays, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.
