Description:

This framed print by world renowned western photographer L.A. Huffman depicts the home of the Spear family in Montana. A traditional style tent is set up to the left of the cabin, and a hauling cart to the right. In the background and foreground is a beautifully hilly nature scene which made for grazing land for herds of cattle. The bottom of the print is marked "OLD SPEAR CAMP ON BITTER CREEK" at the center and "c L. A. Huffman" on the right. Scenes depicting the everyday life of Montana ranchers have become some of Huffman's most well known subjects. The print is surrounded by white and chocolate matting in a wood frame measuring 19 3/4 inches by 15 5/8 inches. Provenance: The John Fox Collection

Rating Definition:

Excellent with a clear, unfaded picture. The frame is very fine with storage and handling marks.
