Manufactured in 1874, this is an excellent example of a first year production Colt New Line .32 revolver. The barrel has the standard two-line Hartford address on top and the desirable acid etched panel marked "COLT NEW 32" on the left side. The left side of the frame is marked "32CAL" just under the cylinder. The barrel and both grip panels are numbered to the gun. Excellent, retaining 95% plus bright original high polish blue finish and 90% vivid original case colors with some spotting on the lower back strap. The grips are also excellent with a few scratches and retaining nearly all original varnish. Mechanically excellent. A very attractive blued and casehardened, acid etched Colt New Line .32 revolver.
