These were the standard sniper rifles during World War II, into Korea and even the early days of Vietnam. The iron sights are properly absent as standard on these sniper variants, with a Remington "9-43" dated barrel, "R" marked replacement bolt with custom modified turned and contoured handle, and the proper offset manufacturer, model and serial number markings on the receiver ring. World War II era arsenal replacement Keystone pistol grip stock stamped with a "K" in the cutoff area, "O.G." on the left of the wrist, "AN" on the left top front of the comb, "P" proof on the front of the grip area, with a checkered blue steel buttplate. The M84 scope is serial numbered "14146" on the data plate, and mounted on a parkerized Redfield scope base, with added shims underneath the front.

Very fine, retains 90% arsenal refurbished parkerized finish with a mottled appearance on the trigger housing, a few patches of light pitting visible underneath the finish on the barrel bands, and 97% subsequently refinished blue finish on the custom modified replacement bolt with some light cycling wear. The arsenal replacement stock is very fine with crisp stamps, some light handling marks and defined edges. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent, retains 98% original blue finish on the tube with some minor surface freckling, and crisp clear optics.
