Description:

From the only U.S. M1 carbine production block manufactured by International Business Machines Corp., (serial number range from 3,651,520 to 4,009,999) produced from August 1943 to May 1944. Features a "SI-B" marked winged blade front and arsenal replacement "shield H" adjustable peep rear sights, "I.B.M. Corp." barrel, type 2 barrel band with four weld scars, "C" and "AOB" marked type 2 slide, replacement "H" type 3 blued round-top bolt, and "BE-B" type 4 fabricated trigger housing with an "EP-B" type 2 push button safety, "PR-B" type 2 magazine catch, and "WMB" marked type 3 hammer. Fitted with a low-wood walnut stock, marked "SCB" in the sling inlet, "ordnance wheel" on the right side of the buttstock, and "k" on the grip, a "SCB" marked two-rivet walnut handguard. Includes a matching numbered DCM sourced DD Form 1149-4 invoice/shipping document addressed from National Rifle Association headquarters in Washington D.C. to the U.S. Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, for one U.S. M1 Carbine shipped to a gentleman of Fords, New Jersey, dated September 25, 1964. Also includes a green web sling and metal oiler. Magazine is absent.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retaining 95% plus original parkerized finish on the barreled receiver, slide, and trigger housing with some minor edge and cycling wear, but otherwise limited handling marks. The stock is also excellent. Mechanically excellent.
