Manufactured in 1942 for the commercial market, and subsequently military acceptance proofed. Features fixed blade front and notch rear sights, standard marking on the left of the slide, ring hammer, and 60 degree safety. The right side of the chamber and slide are "eagle/N" proofed, with "eagle/WaA359" military acceptance proofs on the left side the frame and slide. Fitted with a pair of "Walther banner" marked checkered plastic grips with a polymer thumb extension on the magazine. Includes an extra magazine and an unmarked brown leather shoulder holster rig fit for the pistol and extra magazine, with attached shoulder and belt loops.

Excellent, retaining 90% plus original blue finish with some minor holster pattern edge wear, thinning on the side flats of the slide revealing mostly brown patina, along with some showing on the grip straps, but otherwise limited minor handling marks. The grips are very fine with some minor handling marks in the otherwise crisp checkering and defined banners. The holster rig is very fine with supple leather.
