Manufactured in 2000 and built with blued steel barrels with brass bead sight on the concave solid rib marked "F.LLI PIOTTI ITALY" near the breach, import marked under the forend, 2 3/4 inch chambers, and a band of engraving at the breech. The barrels are mated to a casehardened scalloped boxlock action displaying excellently executed floral tight scroll with interspersed bouquets extending to the toplever and right hand rolled triggerguard. Both sides of the action are gold inlaid "FLLI PIOTTI". The engraving is signed on the right side of the triggerplate "GRANETTI" for the Italian Master Engraver Oscar Granetti. Fitted with double triggers and manual tang mounted safety with gold inlaid "SAFE". The shotgun is mounted with a magnificently figured multipoint checkered walnut splinter forend with engraved fittings and Anson button release and straight grip stock with a leather wrapped recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore measured nine inches from the breech .779/.776 inches; choke constriction .005/.015 inches; minimum wall thickness .029/.027 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at the comb; 2 5/16 inch drop at the heel; 14 13/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 12 oz.

Excellent overall, retaining 97% plus original blue and case colors with some light handling marks, high edge wear, and crisp engraving and forend and stock checkering. Mechanically excellent.
