Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright with some light spotting and crisp checkering.
Description:

Manufactured in 1940, just before the U.S. entered World War II. The top of the receiver ring has the manufacturer and model marking, and the serial number is on the bottom of the receiver. The top of the barrel has the two-line address while the caliber marking and hi-pressure steel marking are on the left and right, respectively. It is fitted with a beaded blade front sight on an integral ramp, an elevation adjustable notch rear sight, and the upper tang is drilled and tapped for a peep sight with filler screws in place. It is mounted with a checkered Schnabel tip forearm and pistol grip stock with a hard rubber grip cap and serrated shotgun buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retains 85% plus of the original blue finish with some light edge wear and a few scattered small patches of light pitting. The wood is excellent with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
