Bore Condition: The bore is excellent and bright with crisp rifling.
Description:

Manufactured in 1935, with standard Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. The left of the barrel has the proof steel, model, trademark, and caliber markings. The upper tang has the three-line trademark and the serial number is on the bottom of the receiver. It is fitted with a ramped and hooded beaded blade front sight and an elevation adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight. It is mounted with a nicely figured smooth forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered steel shotgun buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retains 85% of the original blue finish mixed with patches of brown some thinning on the high spots of the receiver showing a smooth brown patina. The wood is also very fine with a few scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
