Manufactured in the late 1860s to 1873. Brass frame featuring a floral scroll engraving with punch dot background on both sides. Barrel has the "SOUTHERNER" marking as well as Brown three-line legend. Matching serial numbers on butt, barrel, extractor, and both grip panels.

Fine. The barrel retains 50% plus original blue finish with thinning to brown on the balance. The brass has a very attractive mellow aged patina. The grips are also fine with a couple of surface chips near the bottom (right panel). Mechanically excellent.
