The barrels are fitted to the gorgeous coin finished sidelock action which displays exceptionally well-executed floral scroll engraving over a blackened background and surrounding a "PERUGINI & VISINI" banner on the underside, gold washed pins, and three beautifully cut game scenes. The left lockplate displays a pair of mallards coming in to land on a pond, the underside has a mallard and hen on a pond, and the right has a pair of pintails taking flight from the water, all cut in magnificent detail. The engraving is signed "M.GOBBI" on the triggerplate to the right of the trigger for highly regarded Italian Master Engraver Maximo Gobbi. The gun features double gold triggers with articulated front, right hand rolled triggerguard, and a tang mounted manual safety. The gun is fitted with a beautiful highly figured and multi-point checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings and a pistol grip stock with teardrop carved drop points, right hand palm swell, and rubber recoil pad. Included are two extra matching numbered barrel sets numbered "206" and "207" and measuring 28 5/8 inches and 26 5/8 inches and a gold "2" and "3" at the base of the rib respectively. Rating Definition:

Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue, coin, and gold finishes with minimal handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The case is very fine and the extra barrel sets are excellent. Mechanically excellent. This is a great chance to own a true piece of firearms art!
