Manufactured in 1929 as one of 1,088 made in this configuration according to page 279 of "The Parker Story" by Gunther, Mullins, Parker, Price, and Cote with only some 67% having ejectors like this example. Built with blued steel barrels featuring dual white bead sights on the matted concave solid rib marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. PARKER SPEC. STEEL", standard markings on the flats including the "P.S." for Parker Special Steel, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. The barrels are fitted to the casehardened action which features standard GH engraving of oval game bird scenes on the left, right, and underside surrounded by light scrollwork and line borders. The gun features double triggers, standard markings on the water table, and tang mounted automatic safety. The gun is fitted with a nicely figured and multi-point checkered splinter forend with Deeley latch and engraved fittings as well as a pistol grip stock with factory hard rubber grip cap, blank silver inscription shield, and factory dog's head buttplate. Barrel and stock measurement (R/L): bores nine inches from the breech .735/.736 inches; choke constriction .028/.038 inches; minimum wall .029/.029 thickness inches; 1 5/8 inch drop at comb; 2 5/8 inch drop at heel; 14 1/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 13 oz.

Very fine, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with much of the loss on the triggerguard, 75% original case colors with the balance a fine silver patina, some speckles of brown on the action, light handling evidence, and mostly crisp checkering on the lightly re-varnished stock and forend which has been slightly reshaped at the tip. Mechanically excellent.
