Built with blued steel barrels with ramped beaded blade front sight and folding rear sight, standard markings, and ejectors. The barrels are mated to a French grey finished boxlock action features a gold inlaid elk in a field scene on the left and a gold quail in flight on the right all bordered and surrounded by floral scrollwork, a bust of John Browning on the underside, single gold trigger, and tang mounted safety/selector switch. The left lower rear of the action is signed "L. CORTIS" for FN engraver Lily Cortis. Mounted in a nicely figured, multi-point checkered Schnabel tip forend and straight grip stock with Browning buttplate. Includes original box and wooden case with shipping box. 14 1/8 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 15 oz.

Very fine, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with light handling marks, some scattered spotting/pitting, and crisp engraving. Stock and forend are excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent. Box is fine.
