Manufactured in 1943. Features a short stamped trigger, checkered narrow hammer, thumb safety, and magazine release button, with serrated slide stop and arched mainspring housing. The left side of the slide is marked with the correct third type two-line "REMINGTON RAND INC./SYRACUSE, N.Y. U.S.A." address and a "P" on top. The left side of the frame is marked with "FJA" (Col. Frank J. Atwood) inspection and "P" proofs, while the blued barrel is marked "P" on the left and "HS" (High Standard) on the right side of the recoil lug. Fitted with a pair of Keyes Fiber Co. brown checkered plastic grips marked "star/K" on the interior and a blued magazine marked "G" on the lip. Includes a Remington-Rand marked Kraft pattern box.

Excellent, retaining 97% original parkerized finish with some minor cycling wear on the chamber hood, some slight edge wear, some dried grease, and limited minor handling marks overall. The grips are also excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very fine.
