Bore Condition: The bore is shiny with crisp rifling.
Description:

Manufactured prior to the end of World War I, and subsequently reworked by DWM for post-war commercial sales. Features fixed German silver tipped blade front and adjustable tangent rear (graduated from 100 to 800 meters) sights, undated chamber, "DWM" monogram on the toggle link, "crown/N" proofs on the left of the toggle link and extension, along with "GERMANY" marked on front of the frame and right of the rear sight base. The upper safety position is marked "SAFE", with the extractor marked "LOADED". Matching visible "96" partial serial numbers on the takedown lever, trigger, side plate with the barrel, extension breech block, and toggle assembly un-numbered. Fitted with a pair of unnumbered checkered walnut grips and nickel plated magazine with "GERMANY" marked walnut base.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as professionally restored, retaining 95% plus blue and 90% straw colors with some limited high-point thinning, a safety drag line, and otherwise limited handling marks. The replacement grips are also exceptionally fine with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
