"M47C/U31632/1945/TR" marked on the left of the stock socket. The comb of the stock has a hardwood cheekpiece held on with two wood screws. Matching serial number also marked on the bolt handle and stamped on the bottom of the forend, with the top of the wrist numbered to match the scope. Included with the rifle is a pair of leather lens caps, leather sling, a steel scope case numbered to both scope and rifle, and a yellow and green painted hardwood transit case.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 85% of the arsenal blue finish, showing rough areas on the receiver, oxidization on and around the scope bases, a plum patina on the front sight wings, and mild spotting and handling marks overall. The stock is fine, with mild scuffs and dings. The optics are crisp, with mild spotting and wear on the exterior. Mechanically excellent. The handles on the transit case are coming apart, otherwise the accessories are in good order.
