Manufactured in 1947 with standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech and the engraved pigeon on the magazine tube. Dual white bead sights on the solid matte rib, 2 1/2 inch chamber, and choke marked "MOD." Mounted with a finely figured double diamond pattern checkered forearm and single diamond pattern pistol grip stock with a checkered Winchester buttplate and 13 7/8 inch length of pull.

Exceptionally fine, 99% as factory refinsihed finish with a few scattered light handling marks and some light cycling wear. The highly figured wood has some scattered light dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
