Manufactured in 1991, this is an excellent example of Walther's Model P5 Compact. Developed in the mid-1970s, the Walther P5 was intended to be a 9 mm chambered replacement for the variety of 7.65 mm chambered sidearms in use by German police. In many ways, the P5 can be seen as an evolutionary successor of the World War II P.38. This example has the standard markings, including the Interarms importer mark on the right of the slide and "eagle/N" proofs. It has standard features. Includes a factory case and extra magazine. Excellent overall, retains 99% of the original blue and black finishes with only the slightest handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent with only the slightest handling/storage evidence.
