Introduced in 1949 and adopted by the Swiss Army, the P210 has commanded a long lasting reputation as a reliable and accurate sidearm, remaining active as a military service weapon and being sought out by civilian shooters up to the modern day. Stacked matching serial numbers on the left side of the slide and frame, matching number on the barrel, "Swiss Cross in Shield" ahead of the rear sight, "SIG" maker's mark and conjoined "BP" proof on the slide and "P" (privat) on the left side of the trigger guard. An importer mark has been added to either side of the magazine well opening. Fitted with a manual safety, magazine well safety, checkered slide catch, heel-mounted magazine catch and checkered grips. With a brown leather holster marked "+/M" and "E.TINGUELY/56/ALTERSWIL" with a brown leather shoulder strap "Fw. Buchwalder" hand-signed inside the flap, and a commercial ProMag-brand extra magazine. Excellent, with 97% plus original combination blue finish, showing some minor edge wear and handling marks overall. The grips are also excellent, with some light wear on the screw escutcheons. Mechanically excellent. The holster is very good, with scuffs and stains appropriate to field wear, supple leather and solid stitching.
