Description:

Built off of a semi-automatic side plate along with Israeli and U.S. military surplus Browning Model 1919 components. An air-cooled variant of the earlier World War I era Browning Model 1917 water-cooled machine gun, the Browning Model 1919 was developed shortly after the war and became the standard medium caliber machine gun for the U.S. and several other nations throughout and after World War II. Features folding blade front and adjustable peep rear sights, ventilated barrel shroud, cast metal pistol grip, "7.62" marked on a few components, and the model, caliber, and serial number on the right side plate. Includes a M2 tripod, M1919 pintle, two traverse/elevation mechanisms, a M13 soft case, extra barrel, carry handle, and a green painted transport case. Note: This item is restricted under various state-level assault weapons bans and cannot be sold or transferred to residents of CA, CT, DE, HI, IL, MD, NJ, NY, and WA. Please check your local laws and regulations prior to bidding.

Rating Definition:

Excellent overall as built up, retaining 90% plus parkerized finish with light edge wear, a few minor visible patches of spotting on the barrel shroud, and scattered minor scuffs. Some covered pitting is visible on the surplus components. The trigger mechanism needs work, otherwise mechanically fine. The tripod is very fine with light handling wear and some minor spotting on the feet, and the case shows mild scuffs and dents.
