Manufactured c. 1970s-1980s as a commercial semi-automatic only version of the Finnish RK 62 select-fire service rifle. Features a three prong flash hider with bayonet lug on the bottom prong, hooded blade front and elevation adjustable peep rear sights, and flip up front night sight. The left side of the receiver is marked with the Valmet address, model, caliber, and importer mark on the right. Fitted with a ribbed ventilated polymer handguard, smooth oiled walnut pistol grip, and smooth oiled walnut buttstock with Valmet marked ribbed plastic buttplate. Magazine absent. Excellent, retaining 97% plus original parkerized finish with scattered patches of dried grease, some limited minor specs of spotting, and limited minor handling marks. The wood furniture is also excellent. Mechanically excellent.
