Manufactured in Italy c. 1984 as a semi-automatic commercial version of the Beretta AR70/223 select-fire service rifle, which was based off the joint Beretta and SIG SG 530 design and in service with the Italian military from 1972 to 1990. Importer marked on the right of the receiver. Features winged post front and two position flip peep rear sights, an integral scope mount at top of the receiver, a thread-on flash hider with grenade launching collar, and color coded "1/S" marked selector indicators. Fitted with a ribbed polymer forend and grip, along with a smooth polymer buttstock. Includes the original factory box with matching numbered end label. Excellent overall, retaining 97% plus original black finish with some limited light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine.
