The Model 2B four barrel pistol is something of a problem. The straight standing breech would logically follow the Model 2A with the only change being in the rosewood grips with the rounded top. They appear to be numbered in their own sequence starting at 1 and running to about 3700 where the Model 2C starts. Unfortunately random numbers like this one, which would be at the end of the 2C series, or even higher, turn up. Standard Sharps patent and address markings on both sides of the frame around hammer screw. Light vine and leaf engraving on the sides of the frame. This is the ONLY ENGRAVED Model 2B known.

Fine with 95% silver on the frame, 30% blue on the barrels with scattered specks of surface rust and light pitting. The grips are worn at the high spots and a small chip missing at the heel. Mechanically fine. PICTURED Sharps, p. 144
