This is a nice example of a Russian SKS rifle as manufactured and used by the Russian Army and the various Warsaw Pact countries from 1950 through the late 1960s. The top cover is unmarked, and the left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number and 5-pointed star. It has the military style tangent rear sight and hooded adjustable front sight on barrel. Stock is multicolored laminate, with a number of small proofs in the receiver area. With hinged knife bayonet, ten shot box magazine, cleaning rod and cleaning kit in the buttstock and a light green canvas sling.

Excellent plus as arsenal refurbished, with 99% of the original blue finish, showing only a few light handling marks. Excellent stock, with very minor varnish loss and dings. The action is excellent.
