Dated 1939 over the chamber and marked "42" on the top of the toggle. Two "eagle/63" proofs and the "eagle/swastika" firing proof appear on the right side of the receiver with the latter also appearing on the right side of the barrel and the left side of the breechblock. A smaller "eagle/63" is on the upper left rear of the barrel. The serial number is marked on the left side of the barrel extension, front of the frame and bottom of the barrel, in addition the bore diameter "8.82" is also marked on the bottom of the barrel and the partial serial number "84" appears on most of the small components. All numbers match. The safety and extractor are marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively. The magazine is blue, with an aluminum base marked with a "eagle /655" and serial numbered to another gun on the bottom. The backstrap has a stock lug and the grips are the standard checkered walnut.

Excellent with 97% original blue overall. Minor dings are present on the excellent grips. The action is excellent.
