The top of the barrel is marked "REMINGTON ARMS CO., INC., ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A." over the Browning patent markings and numbers. The left side of the barrel is marked "12GA. for 2 3/4 or shorter shells." and the top of barrel is marked "U.S." with the Ordnance Bomb proof. The left side of the receiver is marked with the same "U.S." and Ordnance Bomb proof, next to "MILITARY FINISH" and below that at the edge of the receiver it is marked "Remington/R.U.C. U.S. PAT OFF". The stock and forend are made of walnut and the left side of the buttstock has the Cross Cannon Ordnance cartouche and the unboxed "FJA" cartouche of the US inspector. It is complete with a serrated brown hard plastic buttplate marked "Remington"

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 98% of the original blue "military finish", showing a small area of gray patina where the compensator meets the barrel, along with some light edge and high spot wear and handling marks overall. The stock is excellent, with some minor pressure dent. Excellent action.
