Introduced in 1945, with approximately 150,000 in total production. Fixed front sight on a heavy barrel and adjustable rear sight. Left side of slide is marked "HIGH STANDARD / MODEL H-D MILITARY". The safety is external and the grips are checkered with a pivoting magazine release at bottom of magazine. Complete with what appears to be original black hinged Hi-Standard box with instruction manual.

Excellent near new in box. 98% original finish remains showing only the slightest collector type handling marks and thinning blue on the backstrap. The grips are excellent. The box is very good with some tears along the edges of the lid.
