Description:

According to the included factory letter, this pistol was shipped from the factory on May 7, 1925 to Van Camp Hardware and Iron of Indianapolis, IN. Fixed front sight and notch rear sight. Two line address on top of barrel, "SMITH & WESSON" on the left and "32 AUTO.CTG" on the right. Serrated frontstrap safety. Two-piece wood grip with inlaid Smith & Wesson medallions. Only 957 of these were made, making it one of the rarest of all Smith & Wesson's. The factory letter confirms the major features.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 97-98% of the original blue finish, showing some light wear along the high edges, and a few minor handling marks. Grips are excellent, with a few minor pressure dents. Excellent action.
