Description:

1) 3-1/4 inches high, 3 inches wide oval tsuba with nodules on edge and relief carved and shakuda decoration on both sides. Large mountain scene with gold shakuda mountains, copper trees and figures with man on horseback with attendant heading towards a scholar with students. A hermit is far above. All faces are silver. The reverse has a continuation of the scene with a pavilion but no figures. Good with considerable wear and slight pitting. 2) 3-1/4 inches high, 3-1/8 inches wide, four lobe with nodules. Both sides decorated with brass overlay leaves and flowers. Kogai plugged with silver, copper shim tang adjustment. Very good with slight wear and light pitting. 3) 2-3/4 inches high, 2-5/8 inches wide with raised boss around tang opening and gold damascene dragons and clouds on both sides. Seal form signature also in gold. Even brown patina with light wear. All 18th-19th century.
