Only approximately 5,700 Model 65's were made from 1933-1947, with the 218 Bee the most desirable caliber. Hooded ramp front sight, filler block in rear sight on barrel with the standard markings. The bolt is fitted with a peep sight. The upper tang has the standard markings. Smooth pistol grip stock with checkered shotgun buttplate, semi-beavertail forearm, blue tip, and half length magazine.

Fine as partially refinished (stock), with 80% of the original blue finish remaining on the barrel. A gray and brown patina is forming on the receiver, along with some light handling marks overall, but over half of the flaking original blue remains. The stock is refinished, with some minor scratches and pressure dents. The action is excellent.
