This specially embellished rifle commemorates the 40th anniversary of the company. There were only 200 produced in 1985. Manufactured without sights and equipped with a Weatherby Supreme 3-9 x44 scope on Buehler mounts. The standard receiver markings are gold filled and the floorplate has simple gold engraving with "40TH YEAR COMMEMORATIVE" in the center. The bolt and follower are jeweled and the trigger is gold washed. The stock is deluxe walnut with high gloss finish and has nicely figured carving on the forearm and wrist, rosewood forend and grip cap with a contrasting diamond inset, cheek piece, raised comb, an inset brass commemorative oval plaque on the right side of the stock, gold washed quick release sling swivels and vented rubber Weatherby recoil pad. Complete in a burgundy leather bound case with brass corner protectors and gray fleece lining.

Near new with only the slightest handling marks. The case is excellent.
