Description:

This is the semi-automatic version of the famous Thompson sub-machine gun. Equipped with a finned barrel, fixed front and folding adjustable rear sights, horizontal pistol grip forearm, pistol grip with finger grooves, and plain buttstock with metal trapdoor buttplate. The barrel is fitted with a Cutts compensator, and a sling swivel is found on the buttstock. The left side of the receiver is marked "MODEL OF 1927 A1 / NO.12683" and "THOMPSON SEMI-AUTOMATIC CARBINE / CALIBER .45 AUTOMATIC CARTRIDGE". The right side is marked with the 12 patent numbers and two line Auto Ordnance address. The top of the receiver and compensator are marked with the Thompson logo. The gun is fully complete with a multitude of accessories, including a pair of Auto Ordnance drum magazines, one 10-round Auto-Ordnance and two "CCO" 30-round box magazines, a cleaning rod, a barrel brush, small tool, and the 1936 Edition of "Handbook of the Thompson Submachine Gun", all contained in a Super RARE FBI carrying case that houses the carbine and accessories.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 95% plus of the original blue finish, showing some moderate spotting on the buttplate and on top of the receiver, along with some edge wear and light handling marks. The stock is excellent, with some minor dings and dents, and the action is excellent.
