Gold washed with floral scroll, punch dot and simple border engraving covering most of the metal surfaces. Left side of slide marked with "FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE / HERSTAL-BELGIQUE / BROWNING'S PATENT DISPOSE". Right side barrel, slide and frame marked with serial number above trigger. Has fixed sights, round external hammer, double stack magazine and checkered grips.

Very good overall. About half of the gold finish has worn off exposing the nickel finish underneath. The magazine retains most of the gold finish with wear limited to the floorplate. The grips are very good with minor wear and a few scattered minor dings and scratches.

Approximately 7,000 of this configuration were imported between 1965 and 1978. Fixed front and rear tangent sight calibrated to 500 meters. The gun features a round hammer, push button magazine release and double stack magazine. Belgium proofs on the left side of the barrel chamber and triggerguard and serial number on the right side of the frame. Checkered walnut grips.

Excellent with 99% original finish. There is a coating on most of the gun, probably to protect the finish. The grips are in new condition.
