According to the included factory letter, this revolver was shipped from the factory on January 27, 1955 to H. H. Harris Co. of Chicago, Illinois, with Class B factory engraving. This is a target N-Frame revolver chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge, and has heavily scroll engraving on barrel, cylinder, and frame. Red ramp blade front and adjustable notch rear sight on a checkered rib and top strap, and a pinned barrel. 6-round fluted cylinder with shrouded ejector rod. 5-screw frame with standard four line address. It has the S&W logo under the cylinder latch, a serrated trigger, and a wide checkered hammer, both casehardened. The grips are smooth with S&W medallions and serrated backstrap, ending in a square butt. In a gold S&W box with papers and cleaning tools.

Excellent, with 99% of the original finish, showing some light wear around the muzzle and high edges, along with some light handling marks. Grips are excellent, with light pressure dents. Excellent action. Box is good, with some interior wear and exterior folding and scuffing.
