The top of the barrel is marked with the four line address/patent dates, the left side is marked "32 LONG CTG" and the S&W logo is on the right side of the frame. Casehardened trigger and hammer, pinned front blade sight and pearl grips with S&W medallions.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with approximately 90% of the finish remaining, thinning on the frame and wear on the muzzle and high edges. The grip straps are browning. Strong case colors on the hammer in protected areas. The grips are excellent, and have a low gloss appearance and there are slight handling marks. All markings are clear, the engraving is crisp and the action is excellent. A rare factory engraved 1st Type .32 Hand Ejector.
