This early "KIT GUN," so identified by the label on the end of its original box, has standard markings on both sides of the barrel and frame. It has a four screw frame with a flat butt and a flat latch. The front sight is a serrated ramp and the rear sight is adjustable. The hammer is checkered and the trigger is serrated. It is fitted with checkered grips with S&W medallions. Complete with the original two piece red box with matching number in grease pencil on the bottom. The white label on one end of the box has "22/32" between the "KIT" and "GUN" markings. The blue printed label inside the lid of the box gives instructions in both English and Spanish.

Excellent with 95% of the original finish remaining with some light wear on the muzzle and wear on the backstrap. The hammer and trigger retain almost all of the bright casehardening colors. The grips are excellent with a few minor handling marks and crisp checkering. The box is very good with some moderate corner and edge wear and a couple of small areas wear the red outer paper is torn away. The end label and inside lid label are fully intact.
