A) Smith & Wesson .38 Hand Ejector Model of 1905, Double Action Revolver

Description:

This is the Model of 1905, 4th Change, this last variation was the longest run in production. Produced between 1915 and 1942, this model features a blade front sight and round notch rear sight. Marked "SMITH & WESSON" on the left side of the barrel, the two line address/patent dates on top and "+38 S.&W. SPECIAL CTG+" on the right side of the barrel. There is a S&W trademark on the right side of the 5-screw frame. Casehardened trigger and hammer and checkered diamond grips with S&W medallions set into the tops. Serial number on the frame, barrel and cylinder match.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 98% of the original blue finish. Light wear is present on the muzzle and high edges, along with a ding on the front sight and a few light handling marks overall. Grips are very good, with some chipping from the butt, scratches and wear. Excellent action.

Model of 1905, 3rd change, produced between 1909 and 1915, this particular gun features Patridge blade front and notch rear sights. "+38 S.&W. SPECIAL CTG.+" marked on the left side of the barrel. S&W trademark on the right frame. Casehardened trigger and hammer. Checkered grips with diamond pattern around the screw and S&W medallions at the tops. Serial number on the frame, barrel and cylinder match.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with 75% of the original blue finish, showing a mixed gray patina on the surface, along with some scattered spotting, edge wear, dings, and light handling marks. Grips are very good, with pressure dents and wear. Excellent action.
