Produced in 1920, this model is similar to the Police Positive but has slightly larger frame to accept the longer cylinder to chamber more powerful cartridges such as the 38 Special. Front blade sight and square notch rear sight. The left side of the barrel is marked "POLICE/ POSITIVE / 38 SPECIAL CTG." and the one line address is on the top. Checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" markings at the tops and "C"s around the screw.

Excellent, with 98% of the original blue finish, showing a few light handling marks overall. Sharply checkered grips, with only a few minor pressure dents, and excellent action.

Made in 1906. The top of the barrel has the three line "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG CO./ HARTFORD CT. U.S.A./PAT. AUG. 5, 84 NOV. 6, 88 MAR. 5. 95." marking, with "COLT. D.A.41" on the left side, and the frame has the circled Rampant Colt on the left side above the grip. The Rampant Colt escutcheons at the top of each checkered hard rubber grip have flowers in front and behind the Colt. The latch, frame and yoke are assembly numbered 1168.

Very good, with 70% of the original blue finish, with a smooth gray patina forming, strongest on the cylinder, the sides of the barrel, and along the high edges. The grips are very good, with some smooth wear on the checkering and light pressure dents. The action is very good.
