Rating Definition:

Excellent. The barrel and trigger guard retain approximately 95% of the bright original high polish finish with some muzzle and high edge wear and some minor flaking. The cylinder, frame and hammer retain about 95% original casecolors, dulling on the cylinder, bright on the frame and hammer and having a smooth brown patina on the front strap. There is a little minor pitting on the nipple shield and on the cylinder face. The grips are excellent with light handling marks and sharp checkering. The action is excellent. The markings are crisp and clear. The case is excellent with a few minor scratches and dings, the lining is excellent and the accessories are all fine. From the Will Hoffeld Collection, purchased from Herb Glass Jr. in March 1992.
