Very good plus. The metal surfaces exhibit a smooth gray-silver patina. The brass retains approximately 85-90% of the silver plating. The grips are excellent with some minor scratches, light bottom edge wear and a few minor nicks on the butt. The engraving is clear and crisp. The marking is clear. The case is very good with some minor-moderate handling marks. From the Will Hoffeld collection, purchased from Parke Bernet Auction 1977.
