Rating Definition:

Very good, with a dark patina showing on the blade, with strong etching. An aged patina is visible on the brass, while the grip shows some loss of texture, minor tearing of the portapee and dents on the acorn. Sheath has turned a dark patina, with hints of gray on the steel. From the Will Hoffeld Collection, acquired from Spencer Moore in July of 1962.
