Description:

Fitted with a 26" long single edge blade, marked "1862" on the right ricasso and with the Ames scroll on the left, which has been overstamped "NJ". Leather wrapped hardwood grip, minus wire, with full brass handguard and pommel. With a brown leather scabbard with copper reinforcing rivets along the seam.

Rating Definition:

Sword is fine, with rust and spotting on the blade, dings and an aged patina on the brass, absent wire and light wear on the grip. Scabbard is fair, with missing pieces at the tip and heavy cracking.
