The top of the barrel rib is marked with the two line address/patent dates and the serial number is marked on the butt and rear face of the cylinder. Five round cylinder, pinned blade front sight, notch rear sight, all nickel finish with casehardened hammer and fitted with black checkered hard rubber grips with "S&W." in an oval at the tops. Complete in an original green hinged lid box. The inside of the lid has the "directions for Use" label affixed.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The revolver retains 95% of the original finish with some minor flaking on the edge of the side plate and on the cylinder flutes. There are a couple of minor dings on the right side of the frame and on the side plate, light scattered minor scratches and the a small area just above the grips and the grip straps have a "frosty" finish. The grips are excellent with a few light handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The mechanics are excellent. The box is about good with moderate wear, torn corners on the lid and minor peeling on the label which remains 98% present. The interior shows some minor wear.
