A) Smith & Wesson 4th Model 32 Double Action Revolver with Box

Description:

Manufactured from 1883 to 1909, this revolver was manufactured circa 1887 and features a half moon front and notch rear sights, top break action, oval trigger guard, casehardened trigger and hammer and fitted with black checkered hard rubber grips with "S&W" logo at the tops. Standard two line address/patent dates marked on top of the barrel rib. Complete in a maroon hinged lid box hand numbered to another gun with correct end label.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The revolver retains 98% of the original nickel finish with some slight flaking on the muzzle, front strap and some small areas of "frosting". The trigger guard retains approximately 98% original blue with some very light thinning and edge wear. The trigger and hammer retain 98% bright original case colors. The grips are excellent with only a few minor handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The box is very good with some light edge wear, one torn corner on the lid and the end label solid.

Description:

Manufactured between 1878 and 1888. Marked "E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION. N.Y. PAT. W.S. SMOOT. OCT. 21. 1873" on top of the barrel rib and the serial number is marked on the lower frame under the cylinder. All nickel finish with the square back and squared butt grip, half moon front and notch rear sights and fitted with black checkered hard rubber grips with stylized "R" at the tops.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The revolver retains approximately 95% original finish with scattered small areas of flaking and flaking and minor pitting on the cylinder face. The replacement grips are good with heavy wear, some smooth areas and light handling marks. The marking is crisp and clear. The action is smooth.
