Colt Single Action Army Revolver manufactured in 1926. The revolver has very high quality, custom engraved, scroll work on a punch-dot background; coverage approximates factory Grade-C engraving. The revolver has a nickel plated barrel, frame, trigger guard and back strap with gold plated cylinder, hammer and ejector housing. The two-piece grips are carved ivory; the left grip is finely checkered and has a jewel in the screw escutcheon and the right grip has a relief carved griffin with a scroll in its beak and a shield under its paw. The barrel has the one line Colt Hartford address roll-stamped on the top and the caliber "32 W.C.F" stamped on the right side. Both markings are in scroll-work panels. The two-line/three date patent marking and Rampant Colt trademark are located in panels formed by punch-dots and scroll work on the left side of the frame. The left side of the trigger guard is stamped with the assembler's number "3" and the Colt "VP/Triangle" proof mark. The assembly number, "93" is located on the inside of the loading gate. The serial number, "349666" is located on the bottom of the frame ahead of the trigger guard. The partial serial number, "66" is stamped on the rear face of the cylinder.

Very good as custom embellished and refinished. The revolver retains at least 95% of the nickel and gold-plated finish. Wear is limited to some finish loss at the edge of the ejector housing and cylinder and some flaking on the sides of the hammer. The engraving is deep and crisp. The factory markings are sharp. The slightly undersize ivory grips have a mellow patina and show minor age cracks on the heels. The bore is bright and the action functions perfectly.
