This revolver features fixed front and notched rear sights, casehardened serrated trigger and checkered hammer. Roughly 75% of the revolver features a custom floral engraving with punch dot background. There are also single gold rear barrel and front sight bands and the cylinder flutes are outlined in gold. Complete with a blue S&W box numbered to the gun and papers. The accompanying letter states that the original grips were checkered and shipped to International Distributors Inc., Miami, FL, on 5 June 1979 without an engraving.

Excellent as custom embellished with virtually all of the current blue finish remaining with only the slightest handling marks. The grips are like new with only the slightest handling marks.

Introduced in 1936 as the .22-32 Kit Gun. In 1960 it was changed over to the improved J frame. The -1 behind the model number indicates this variation. It features a front serrated ramp sight and adjustable micro-click rear sight, casehardened serrated trigger and checkered semi-target hammer and checkered grips with S&W medallions. Roughly 90% of the revolver features a custom scrollwork with punch dot background. With blue S&W box numbered to a different gun and papers. The accompanying S&W letter states that this revolver was shipped to Lathrop Shooters Supply Co., Tucson, AZ, on 20 June 1977 and not engraved when shipped.
