Manufactured in 1896, this Model 1894 rifle is from the Roy Rogers collection and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity stating that this rifle was personally owned and used by cowboy star Roy Rogers, and that it has been on display at the Roy Rogers - Dale Evans Museum in Branson, Missouri. The certificate is dated February 25, 2009 and signed by Roy Rogers Jr.. The rifle is a standard Model 1894 with a German silver blade front and adjustable rear buck horn sights, has the standard markings and is mounted with a smooth forearm with iron forend cap and straight grip stock with crescent buttplate.

About good. The metal surfaces have a smooth mottled brown patina with some strong traces of the original blue finish around the base of the lever. The wood is good. The forearm has a hand rubbed finish, the stock has most of the freshened varnish and there are overall minor dings, dents and scratches. The markings are clear. Mechanically fine.
